Rodgers will likely return to his “all business” persona again.

You may recall that last season I picked Austin Seferian-Jenkins to be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ breakout player. I figured he’d had two injury riddled seasons to start his career, but even in the limited time that he was on the field he showed that he could be a special player. What did ASJ do to thank me for picking him for such a prestigious award?

“I’m incredibly proud of him,” Rodgers said of O’Callaghan. “I know he had a lot of fear about it, and how he would be accepted, and how people would change around him. I think society is finally moving in the right direction, as far as treating all people with respect and love and acceptance and appreciation. And the locker room, I think the sport is getting closer.”

When the season begins in September, Rodgers will likely return to his “all business” persona again. But the ESPN profile offers a glimpse at a deep-thinking person who contemplates much more than football.

The Chiefs aren’t the only team that may face some depth chart upheaval this fall. The Eddie Lacy experiment in Seattle has yet to pay off. After adding the former Rookie of the Year as a key free agent signing this summer, the Seahawks haven’t seen the burly runner stand out in the backfield this preseason.

In two games with the club, Lacy has had 10 carries for a meager 30 yards. He’s been outplayed by Thomas Rawls, C.J. Prosise, and even rookie seventh-round pick Cheap NBA Jerseys From USA Chris Carson. The club’s Cheap Mitchell And Ness Jerseys decision to gamble on the talented, but oft-injured, back doesn’t look like a smart one, but it’s still too early to make a final decision.
