Warriors sweep, Hawks pull even, Raptors take 3-2 lead

Another one bites the dust in the 2017 NBA playoffs.

The Warriors cruised to a first-round sweep of the Trail Blazers with a blowout win Monday night. They join the Cavs as the only teams to advance to the second round so far. The Cheap College Jerseys Raptors are now within one victory of moving forward to face Cleveland after defeating the Bucks at home. On the upper half of the East bracket, the Hawks are locked in a 2-2 tie with the Wizards following a hard-fought Game 4 win.

Let’s take a look at what happened in each playoff game, along with the turning points and X-factors that helped shape the final scores.

After George hit his 3-pointer with less than a minute to go, it was clear the Cavs were going to make a concerted effort to get the ball out of his hands. LeBron James, who doubled George and knows a few things about being criticized for lacking the so-called clutch gene, said as much after the game to ESPN’s Lisa Salters.

Anybody but Paul George can take that last one, and we live with it, James Cheap Custom Hockey Jerseys said. Get the ball out of his hands. Coach (Tyronn Lue) did a great job of calling out one of our sets that we work on defensively every single day, and we executed it.

On the flipside, there’s evidence the Pacers can succeed in clutch time when teams concentrate on George and prevent him from getting a touch. Back in December, Thaddeus Young hit a game-winner against the Wizards on a sideline out-of-bounds play. George curled back toward the sideline, drawing the attention of both his defender and the man guarding the ball. This gave Young an opportunity to drive to his dominant hand with no help defenders and sink a smooth floater.
