Never change, Chuck.
It seems Charles Barkley still has this idea the Warriors are a shoot-happy bunch that only pays attention to half the court. Barkley was at it again Wednesday at halftime of the Warriors’ Game 2 NBA playoffs matchup vs. the Trail Blazers.
Chuck: This is going to be a shootout, neither one of these teams is good defensively. Warriors 2nd in the NBA on D, well alright then.
I’m not feeling comfortable with him sitting on the sideline crying like that, Barkley said on the pregame show. That makes me uncomfortable. So that tells me he’s not in shape to play.
For many athletes, playing is the best way to channel emotions and keep themselves together when a tragic event occurs. When Brett Favre’s father died in 2003, the quarterback played the very next night and threw for 399 yards and four touchdowns.
I don’t know how this night is going to turn out, but to be sitting on the sideline a few minutes before the game and crying, that just makes me uncomfortable for him. Barkley said. That’s just not a good look for him.
Apparently showing emotion over your sister’s death is a bad look. Good to know, Chuck.
On the other side, DeMar DeRozan didn’t give the Raptors much offensively. In Cheap Giants Jerseys fact, DeRozan failed to make a field goal, shooting 0 of 8 from the floor (all of his eight points came at the free-throw line) and finishing minus-23 in 31 minutes. The Bucks did not give him an inch of space, and Tony Snell in particular did a good job of harassing DeRozan on the perimeter. He can’t lay another egg like this.
